(Trends Wide) — At least six people – ranging in age from 20 to 30 – were injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Houston, Texas, according to reported Police Chief Troy Finner at a press conference held early this Sunday. At least one of the victims is in critical condition, according to Finner.
Deputies responded to a nighttime shooting in the 6000 block of Richmond Ave. at a nightclub and found multiple victims at the scene, Finner said.
While Finner said he has limited information to share, he said the investigation is active and police are in the process of looking at surveillance camera footage in the area.
“What I will tell you is that we had six victims here,” Finner said. “Apparently there is some kind of disturbance within the club that has moved to the parking lot.”
There are no suspects in custody, police said.
“There’s no point shooting in a crowded parking lot, make no mistake, we’re going to find out who did it and hold them accountable,” Finner said.
