The mobile operator AT&T announced this Tuesday that it is going to delay the deployment of the 5G network around “certain airports” to continue working with the aviation authorities on the impact of this new ultra-fast internet technology on the air safety.
The heads of ten air transport companies warned on Monday of the potential “chaos” that the deployment of the 5G network by AT&T Y Verizon around the airports, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday. Verizon, meanwhile, did not immediately respond.
