Axtel reduced its net debt to 566 million pesos in the third quarter of 2022

Axtelthe telecommunications arm of the Alfa group that is undergoing a process of splitting up its parent company, reduced its net debt by 8.0%until placing it at 566 million pesos for the July-September quarter.

Los company revenues totaled 2,736 million pesos in the period, a figure that meant a decrease of 1.0% compared to revenues for the same quarter of 2021, while in the accumulated nine months of 2022, the decrease was 9.0% as Axtel entered 7,827 million pesos in the period, compared to the 8,577 million pesos registered between January and September 2021.

Axtel said he had a operating flow of 790 million pesos in the third quarter of 2022, 13.0% below the 912 million pesos of a year earlier.

The company registered a net loss of 116 million pesos between July and September, a reduction of 62% in its losses when comparing that figure with the drop of 302 million pesos in the third quarter of last year.

Axtel invested 285 million pesos in the third quarter of this year, compared to 486 million pesos in the third quarter of 2021.

At Axtel we have made it our priority to resume profitable growth. In line with this priority, in the third quarter we achieved the highest income and flow of the year, with contributions from both business units, Alestra and Axnet”, the company said.

“Among different initiatives and actions to boost revenue growth, we are reinforcing the attributes that the Alestra and Axnet brands represent beyond traditional connectivity, towards specialized services such as cybersecurity, consulting and hybrid cloud solutions,” added Axtel.
