Although Michigan has historically dominated its series against Wisconsin, the rivalry has been far more competitive in recent years.
The Badgers hold a 6-4 record against the Wolverines in their last 10 meetings dating back to 2007. During that span, Ohio State is the only other Big Ten school with a winning record (6-4) against Michigan, while both Iowa and Michigan State are 5-5.
Extending the timeline to 2005, Wisconsin (2-2 overall, 0-1 Big Ten) maintains a 7-6 winning record in the series. This includes two decisive victories in Ann Arbor: a 49-11 win in 2020 and a 48-28 victory in 2010.
Even since 1993, the Badgers have posted a respectable 9-11 record. This achievement is notable considering that Michigan (3-1, 1-0) has won two national championships and 11 Big Ten titles since 1990.
Ahead of the Badgers’ game against the No. 20 Wolverines on Saturday at Michigan Stadium, here are five more things to know about the matchup.
