The Bahraini Foreign Ministry expressed the Kingdom’s support for what was stated in the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement regarding the report that was provided to the US Congress about the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The Kingdom of Bahrain affirmed “the importance of the essential role of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his crown prince, the regional, Arab and international policy of moderation, and the efforts it exerts in enhancing regional security and stability, and promoting global economic growth.”

The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its rejection of everything that would prejudice the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On Friday evening, Saudi Arabia issued a statement commenting on the American report on the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the Kingdom’s consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it followed what was circulated regarding the report that was provided to Congress regarding the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.
She added, “The Kingdom’s government categorically rejects the abusive and incorrect conclusions contained in the report about the Kingdom’s leadership, which cannot be accepted in any way.”
Earlier in the day, the administration of US President Joe Biden released a declassified copy of the CIA report on the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.
“We see that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved in 2018 an operation in Istanbul, Turkey, to arrest or kill journalist Jamal Khashoggi,” the office of the Director of National Intelligence said in the report published on the administration’s website.
