Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is eyeing a cheap triple swoop for Memphis Depay, Georginio Wijnaldum and Eric Garcia in January, according to reports.
The Spanish giants were in hot pursuit of the trio before the 2020-21 campaign got underway, but Lyon, Liverpool and Manchester City all stood firm despite Barcelona’s heavy interest.
And according to Mundo Deportivo, after having their finances hit severely due to the coronavirus pandemic – losing a huge £88million – Barcelona are once again eyeing the trio on the cheap as they all enter the final six months of their respective deals.

Premier League duo Garcia and Wijnaldum continue to be closely watched by the Spanish side
Lyon star Depay, who worked with Koeman for the Dutch national team, refused to rule out a move away from Ligue 1 in January when quizzed on Barcelona’s failed pursuit of him in the summer.
‘We will see,’ said Depay when asked about what the future holds in an interview with Dutch newspaper AD – as reported by Sport.
‘Soon we’ll be in January. We’ll have to wait and see how things are. It’s not that I’m definitely going, but it’s likely there will be clubs in for me soon.’

‘I’m 26 and almost free, so you can expect clubs to be interested in me, no?’ he added.
Meanwhile, City defender Garcia has made clear his desire to return to Barcelona, where he spent his youth career between the years of 2008 – 2017.
Dutch midfielder Wijnaldum would arguably be the toughest player to acquire for Koeman, with Jurgen Klopp determined to keep him for the remainder of the current campaign as Liverpool look to successfully defend their Premier League title.
