Today, Monday, the Spanish club Barcelona loaned its young Brazilian striker Vitor Roque, who has not established himself after 6 months in Catalonia, and its French defender Clement Lenglet to Real Betis and Atletico Madrid, respectively.
The former Atletico Paranaense striker joined Barcelona in January for $33.5 million after the club signed the deal in July 2023.
Rocky (19 years old) scored two goals in 16 matches for the “Blaugrana” jersey last season, which was won by its traditional rival Real Madrid.
“FC Barcelona and Real Betis have reached an agreement for the loan of Vitor Roque until June 30, 2025, with an option for another year,” Barcelona said in a statement, adding that Betis also have the option to buy Roque.

Barcelona also loaned Lenglet (29 years old) to Atletico until the end of the current season without an option to buy, after the Frenchman had previously played in the past two seasons with Tottenham and Aston Villa in England on loan as well.
The former international defender has made 160 appearances for Barcelona since arriving at the club in 2018.
Barcelona, who are struggling financially and under the strict financial rules of the Spanish League, failed to register their new player, Dani Olmo, the European champion with the “La Roja” team, who came from Leipzig, Germany.

Barcelona allowed German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan to return to his former club Manchester City on a free transfer last week, with new coach Hansi Flick hoping that will give the club enough space to register Olmo, but the playmaker has been unavailable for the team’s last two La Liga games.
Barcelona is in second place in the league with a perfect score (6 points) on goal difference behind Celta Vigo, the leader at the start of the new season.
