Spanish football club Barcelona plans to offer the Frenchman, Osman Dembli, the team’s wing, for sale during the next summer transfer period, if he does not show his loyalty to the Catalan club.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Dembele showed his technical value with Barcelona in the recent period, but the crisis is currently related to the player’s contract with the Catalan club.
She indicated that Barcelona’s sports administration had tried to renew Dembele’s contract earlier, but the player and his agent did not want to hear any offers.
She explained that the new president of Barcelona will make the final decision on Dembele’s status, but if the latter insists on not renewing, he will be sold next summer before his contract expires in June 2022.
The Spanish newspaper revealed that Dembele was on the verge of leaving Barcelona last summer, towards Manchester United, on loan with entitlement to purchase, but the deal collapsed in the last moments of the Mercato.
