Can you imagine storing in a battery all the energy generated by solar panels and having energetic autonomy?
This was the idea of Philip Arriolaco-founder of BioEsol, who, together with his partners, set about the task of generating energy efficiency three years ago.
Through an intelligent storage system, which is like a battery, companies can take advantage of energy from renewable sources, generating savings of up to 100 percent.
The company seeks facilitate the transition towards energy autonomy, that is to say, that the businesses are autonomous in their energy and do not depend on a third party.
“We offer a battery that stores renewable energy (from solar panels), with software that manages it to be efficient.”
For this innovation, the company won the first place of the fifth building of HEINEKEN Green Challengethat this edition focused on energy efficiency and obtained 500,000 pesos.
Arriola commented in an interview that “the main market is small and medium-sized companies, but it can also be applied in places where electricity does not reach.” In addition, the battery has a life of 33 years.
The main challenge, Arriola points out, is how to finance customersFor this reason, it created an energy as a service model, through which customers are offered a long-term contract.
The entrepreneur pointed out that the award will allow the team to grow, since it is intended to have a 30% growth in the coming years and to achieve this it is necessary to add talent to the company.
