What looked to be a routine and confident progression for FC Bayern took a dramatic turn when the score suddenly became 2-2. Wehen Wiesbaden’s Fatih Kaya stunned the favorites with a quick-fire brace, scoring twice within six minutes to bring his team back into the game.
Shortly after the equalizer, Bayern were awarded a penalty when Harry Kane was clearly brought down in the box. In a surprising twist, however, Kane missed from the spot for the first time in a competitive match for the club.
