(CNN) — Bebe Rexha was carried offstage at her concert in New York City on Sunday after someone threw a mobile phone that hit her in the head.
Rexha clutched her face and fell to her knees, according to video of the incident shared by concertgoers on social media, as staff from the Rooftop at Pier 17 ran out to help her.
Rexha has been on her “Best F’n Night of My Life” tour.
A concertgoer wrote on Twitter about the incident: “This is Bebe Rexha being rushed out of the concert hall here in New York after someone threw a f… phone at her and hit her in the face as she was leaving. off the stage. We were all having a great time and Bebe too, we were having a great time, who would do something like that? We hope you’re doing well.”
Another said: “Absolutely great show ruined by a fan throwing his phone at @BebeRexha let’s hope he’s okay after that.”

Fans came to the singer’s defense, with one writing, “baby deserves so much BETTER come on. we love you girl.”
Rexha has more concerts in Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, Orlando and Houston.
The singer has not yet commented on the incident. CNN has contacted representatives for Rexha for comment.
