On Tuesday, Italian club Atlanta announced the death of its Ivorian player Willy Brasiano Ta Bi at the age of 21 after a long illness.
The Italian club said, through its official account on “Twitter”: “We regret the premature death of our player and Italian U-19 champion Willy Prasiano Ta Bi, and we share the grief of his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Willie.”

Ta Bi joined Atlanta in 2019 and helped the club win the Italian Under-19 League title in the same year, before he contracted liver cancer and began a treatment journey with the malignant disease that he defeated today.
It is noteworthy that Atlanta will face Real Madrid tomorrow, Wednesday, in the first leg of the 16th round of the “Champions League” soccer tournament.
