The Secretary of Public Administration, Roberto Salcedo Aquino, announced that the unit he commands has filed 79 complaints with the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) for the probable commission of crimes associated with illicit enrichment; improper use of functions, abuse of authority, fraud and embezzlement, while 331 investigation folders are followed up on the basis of the complaints filed.

The official indicated, at the beginning of his appearance for the gloss of the Fourth Report of the Federal Executive, before the joint commissions of Transparency and Anticorruption and Surveillance of the Superior Audit of the Federation of the Chamber of Deputies, that as a result of the control of the fiscal year 2018 and previous years, there are currently 48,000 million pending clarification which gave rise, by state control bodies, to the filing of 471 criminal complaints and the initiation of 6,572 sanctioning administrative liability procedures.

Salcedo affirmed that, in its work of knowing and investigating the behaviors that could constitute responsibilities, the SFP implemented the Corruption Alert Citizens and Citizen Complaints systems, for which 887 alerts and almost 30,000 complaints were received, all of them were forwarded. to the investigating authorities.

Currently, he said, there are 36,983 files under investigation.

Regarding investigation and imposition of sanctions, it reported that from September 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022, 25,003 files were integrated; 1,455 for serious administrative offenses, such as bribery, embezzlement, abuse of functions, hidden enrichment and diversion of resources, which have already been turned over to the Federal Court of Administrative Justice for resolution.

The remaining 23,000 files corresponded to non-serious offenses.

In terms of public procurement to bidders, suppliers and contractors, he announced that 357 resolutions were issued, of which 249 were sanctioning, imposing fines amounting to 1,278 million pesos and 175 disqualifications to companies.

During the positions of the parties, the deputy María Elena Pérez-Jaén Zermeño (PAN) maintained “that the fight against corruption was one of the offers of the current president and today we confirm that everything was left in words.”

While Blanca Alcalá Ruiz, deputy for the PRI, expressed that there are many concerns in light of what is evidenced every day and the observations of the Superior Audit of the Federation for the years 2019 and 2020.

There are numerous, he said, the practices questioned; opacity in direct assignments, programs with operating rules not applied.

And he indicated that observations are noted in multiple dependencies and programs, from the execution of emblematic works such as Dos Bocas or the Mayan Train, to millionaire awards and cases such as Segalmex.

We request that the in-depth investigations be carried out and expedited, that those responsible be identified and that the guilty be punished with the full weight of the law.”
