Simmons experienced the most successful stretch of his career in Philadelphia, where he was a three-time All-Star and earned an All-NBA selection. During his peak 2019-2020 season, the Australian guard averaged 16.4 points, 8.0 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.1 steals while shooting 58% from the field.
