Torreon, Coahuila; May 13, 2023.- At the end of his sixth round of all regions of the state, the candidate for governor of the Citizen Alliance for Security, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, highlighted in Torreón the social and health programs focused on improving the quality of life of the older adults of Coahuila.

During meetings with thousands of citizens in massive events in the Zaragoza Sur and San Joaquín neighborhoods, Jiménez Salinas announced that within the health axis of his work plan is the delivery of the popular health card for older adults and vulnerable populations. , as well as the clinics within the colonies.

“As a team we have been improving these neighborhoods with paving, drinking water and drainage, with support to build houses and deeds, now we are going to set up a popular health clinic, and for our older adults we are going to give them the popular health card so that they have free medicines, consultations and tests”, he highlighted.

“They will have our full support; Coahuila is great thanks to the work of our older adults who forged this blessed land and in our government we are going to work to improve their quality of life,” he said.

Likewise, the candidate of the PRI-PAN-PRD coalition announced that during his administration, state and federal social programs will be strengthened and expanded so that the most vulnerable population has more and better opportunities.

“We are going to continue working in coordination with all levels of government so that the elderly continue to receive the programs that constitutionally correspond to them, and at the same time strengthen state and municipal ones,” he said.

As part of the Inclusion axis of its political and social platform, there is also the strengthening of community kitchens for the elderly within the neighborhoods in each municipality.

During the massive meeting in the Zaragoza Sur neighborhood, he was accompanied by the local deputy candidate for district 10, Hugo Dávila, and in the San Joaquín neighborhood by the local deputy candidate for district 9, Blanca Lamas.
