US President Joe Biden has mandated intelligence services to study issues in which Washington believes Russia has a role, such as cyber attacks and the supposed poisoning of Russian blogger Alexei Navalny.
White House spokeswoman Jane Psaki said during a press conference, on Thursday, that “President Biden has mandated the intelligence services to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the cyber attack on the Solar Wind company and the Russian interference in the 2020 elections, and the use of chemical weapons against opposition leader Alexei Navalny and the supposed rewards in exchange for American soldiers were killed. “
She added that although the United States would deal with Russia to activate American interests, it would “hold” Russia accountable for its “inappropriate actions.”
It is noteworthy that Russia had rejected the allegations about its interference in the elections in the United States or any other country, and its standing behind the cyber attacks on the United States.
Moscow also questioned the German story about Navalny’s poisoning last August, asserting that Berlin had not provided any evidence to substantiate the allegation, and that Russian doctors had not detected any traces of the poison in Navalny’s samples.
Regarding the reports about the alleged “rewards” by Russia for killing American soldiers in Afghanistan, the same US administration said earlier that the intelligence had not found any evidence in this regard.
