US President Joe Biden congratulated NASA on the occasion of the successful landing of the “Perseverance” probe on the surface of Mars.
Acting NASA Administrator Steve Jurchick said that he received a call from President Biden about an hour after the probe landed, adding that the president congratulated the “NASA” team and expressed his pride in its members, and promised to offer the congratulations in person soon.

The Perseverance probe made a successful landing at the Jezero crater on the surface of Mars on Thursday, February 18th, at the conclusion of a flight that had continued since last July.
“NASA” received the first pictures from the probe that it sent from the surface of Mars, and confirmed that it was not damaged during the landing.
