In his interview with CBS, he pointed out that “the idea of the possibility of this happening or that we get herd immunity before the end of this summer is very difficult.”
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that the United States had used 41 million 210,937 doses of Covid-19 vaccines as of Sunday morning, and distributed 59 million and 307,800 doses.
Biden had said on January 26 that he expected the United States by next summer to go a long way on the road to achieving herd immunity against the emerging corona virus.
He repeated at the time that his first goal was to vaccinate 100 million people during the first 100 days of his term.
