Wednesday’s upcoming 90-minute episode of “Big Brother 27” is set to deliver significant developments, recapping the aftermath of Head of Household Jimmy Heagerty’s initial nominations and featuring a pivotal Power of Veto competition with surprising results.
The previous episode saw Isaiah “Zae” Frederich evicted by a 9-5 vote, after which Jimmy Heagerty won the subsequent Head of Household competition. During that contest, three houseguests also secured game-altering advantages:
- Keanu Soto won a power allowing a former houseguest to return and compete alongside him in a Power of Veto competition.
- Kelley Jorgensen acquired a power, similar to one from Season 26, granting her the ability to compete in a separate, individual Power of Veto competition.
- Mickey Lee earned a secret Head of Household power that can be activated anytime before the jury phase begins.
As the new HOH, Heagerty nominated Kelley Jorgensen, Adrian Rocha, and Keanu Soto for eviction.
The series airs live on CBS and the Paramount+ app, with episodes available for on-demand streaming the following day. Season 27 is scheduled to run for 83 days, concluding with a two-hour finale on Sunday, September 28.
A new companion show, “Big Brother: Unlocked,” now airs on alternating Friday nights at 7 p.m. CT. Hosted by past winners Derrick Levasseur (Season 16) and Taylor Hale (Season 24), the program will feature never-before-seen broadcast footage, exclusive interviews, and a panel with a mystery celebrity guest and a “Big Brother” alum.
Spoiler Alert: The following information is from the 24/7 live feeds and has not yet aired on television.
Power of Veto Results and Renominations
Keanu Soto successfully used his power, bringing back Season 20 winner Kaycee Clark, who won the Power of Veto for him. He subsequently used the Veto to remove himself from the block.
Kelley Jorgensen also activated her power, competing in and winning a second, separate Power of Veto, which she used to save herself.
With two of his original nominees safe, HOH Jimmy Heagerty was forced to name two replacements. He nominated Cliffton “Will” Williams and Amy Bingham.
This leaves Adrian Rocha, Will Williams, and Amy Bingham as the final nominees facing eviction. One of these three will be saved during Thursday’s live BB: Blockbuster competition, after which the remaining houseguests will vote to evict one of the final two nominees.
