Users of social networks woke up with the indignation caused by a video published in the account of Arturo Islas Allende, actor and television host and naturalist activist. The video expresses a public denunciation against the Black Jaguar-White Tiger foundation (Black Jaguar-White Tiger) for the supposed abandonment and death of more than half of the felines who are in your care.
Yael Ruiz, 31, claims in the video that she had worked for two years for the foundation of Edward Maurice Moses Seriously and presents evidence on the supposed living conditions of the animals. According to Yael Ruiz, the animals are dying due to lack of care and food.
The video added more than 2.6 million views on Instagram and more than 313,000 in Facebook in less than 24 hours, social platforms from where the material was shared.
“A complaint was filed with Profepa and other authorities days ago and nothing has happened, they do not react, we do not know what is happening with the inspectors and that was the reason why we decided to release this video,” it is assured in the text that accompanies the Post on Instagram and Facebook. The teacher is the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protectionpublic office responsible for caring for and preserving the environment.
Within the complaint, a call is made to the Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, to intervene in this “animal sanctuary” that is located in the vicinity of the delegation Tlalpan.

I inform you that we have contacted the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (teacher) to intervene and rescue them”, reported the Head of Government of the CDMX and Twitter.

It has not been the first time that the foundation has been denounced Black Jaguar-White Tiger. At the end of June 2022, the Association of Zoos, Breeders and Aquariums of Mexico AC (AZCARM) filed a complaint with the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) against Eduardo Mauricio Moises Serio, called “Papa Bear”.

The foundation of Papa Bearwhich claims to have some 400 felines under protection, among which species such as lions, leopards, jaguars and tigers stand out, responded to these remarks from its Instagram account with a series of videos showing some of its animals in perfect condition.
The answer has this message: “Today you will see all our children in perfect health despite the loss of 70% of donations derived from the pandemic that I have made public multiple times in recent years. But come rain, shine or shine, at my foundation we do magic to help children get ahead. The dark side of humanity is trying to pull us down once again. Enjoy the show, it’s going to be very nice.”
What is Black Jaguar-White Tiger?
The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation defines itself as a global non-profit organization that cares for and protects wild animals. In addition to the physical protection of the animals, the foundation carries out educational campaigns, legal reforms and their rehabilitation.
The foundation began operations in 2015 and became a non-profit, tax-exempt organization in 2016: “BJWT is a foundation that thinks outside the box. Working to connect people with the animals that share our world, creating a better understanding that we can all co-exist together in a healthy, happy and harmonious space,” their website reads.
The foundation has a section enabled on its website where people interested in helping can donate from 10 to 100 dollars and even customize the amount they want to contribute, which is tax deductible according to the official site.
BJWT has consolidated a large community on social networks, as it currently has more than 7.6 million followers on instagram, 3.8 million on Facebook and 62,300 subscribers on Youtube.
