US Secretary of State Antony Blinken testified remotely before the House of Representatives about the withdrawal of US soldiers from Afghanistan. Blinken said the White House is in constant contact with the citizens who still remain in that country. In addition, he recalled that the agreement was reached with the government of former President Donald Trump, in which the departure of the soldiers was planned before May 1.
