Within the benchmark, most components are trading at a profit, with 22 stocks in the green and 13 in the red. The advances are led by Grupo Financiero Inbursa, with 2.74%; Arca Continental, with 2.15%, and the real estate company Vesta, with 1.86 percent.
Investors are getting ready for the US Federal Reserve’s monetary policy announcement next Wednesday. The market would have already discounted a 50-basis rate hike and is focusing on subsequent actions, Banco Base said.
“It is waiting for the update of the economic projections to be published, specifically the dot diagram on the expected interest rate for 2023,” he added.
