The referential index S&P/BMV IPC from Mexican stock exchange (BMV), with the 35 most liquid shares in Mexico, lost 1.29% to 45,728.87 units. The FTSE BIVAfrom Institutional Stock Market (Biva), lost 1.04% to the level of 952.67 points.

Within the reference index, most of the components closed the session in negative territory, with 24 values in red and 11 in green. The worst falls were in the shares of Penoleswhich lost 4.99%, Mexico Groupwith 4.66 percent.
Markets pulled back as US employers hired more employees in September than estimated. In Mexico, inflation in September remained stable at a maximum not seen in 20 years.
Despite this loss, the S&P/BMV IPC index ended the week with an accumulated gain of 1.39% from 45,102.55 units. The Mexican market cut a losing streak of three weeks.
