Las mexico stock exchanges They trade with modest gains on Monday morning. Local stock indices advance in a market attentive to the midterm elections in the United States and waiting for a monthly inflation data from that country in the week.
The index reference S&P/BMV IPC from Mexican stock exchange (BMV), made up of the 35 most traded shares in the local market, gains 0.23% to a level of 51,292.61 units. The FTSE BIVAfrom Institutional Stock Market (Biva), gains 0.26% to 1,073.37 points.

Within the leading index, most stocks are trading in positive territory, with 23 of the stocks in the green and 12 in the red. The best performers are the shares of Industrias Peñoles, with 2.50%; the real estate company Vesta, with 1.62%; and Femsa, with 1.43 percent.
Local investors also expect to know at the end of this week the monetary policy decision of the Bank of Mexico (Banxico). Most analysts expect a new increase of 75 basis points in the price of money to respond to inflation.
