Boston wants to make changes to its roster. After playing half of the regular season, the Massachusetts franchise is not happy. Right now they are tenth in the Eastern Conference and the goal they set before starting was to enter the playoffs directly. They need to do something.
With such a context, discussions have not been slow to arise about the possibility of releasing one of its mainstays as Jaylen Brown; however, the Celtics have already made it clear that both he and Jayson Tatum are non-tradeable. Closed the circle on them, the greens seem to be heading to make some minor move.
It is precisely on this line that Michael Scotto points out in HoopsHype. According to the aforementioned journalist, Brad Stevens would have shown interest in recovering Jeff Green for the cause, who last summer signed with the Denver Nuggets for two years and 10 million dollars.
Even if Boston’s desire is real, any negotiations will depend on how interested Colorado are in letting go. It must be taken into account that they have suffered many injuries this course and that they are not overcrowded; however, we also know that they want to reinforce the positions of small forward and center. Green’s exit would depend on what they can get in return.
