A 3-year-old boy was left heartbroken after his canine ate his butterfly he had raised from a caterpillar.
Seconds after the teenager from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, launched the butterfly in his backyard the household’s Cavalier King Charles spaniel chased after it and ate it.

Danny determined to share the comical second, which he captured on Tuesday, on social media and the video has since proved extraordinarily common.
Danny stated: ‘Sadly I ended recording as Ronnie acquired upset. He’s three years previous and for a full day now has not stopped speaking about his butterfly Ralph.
‘We grew him from a caterpillar and determined it was time to set him free when our canine determined in another way.
Danny stated his son Ronnie has refused to speak to or acknowledge their canine Marvel for the reason that heartbreaking incident
‘I shared the video on my Fb and other people can’t cease laughing at it.
‘Ronnie has been very offended at our canine Marvel and refuses to speak to him.’
He defined that their canine is ‘very cheeky’ and is commonly inflicting hassle round their home.
