The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced Thursday that it had recorded 67,758 cases and 1131 new deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours.
The number of infections in the country since the start of the pandemic has increased to eight million and 324294, and the number of deaths has reached 207,095, according to the Ministry of Health data.
Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States, and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India.
