The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced, on Sunday evening, that it had recorded 26,845 cases and 522 new deaths from the Corona virus, which causes the “Covid-19” infection.
The Ministry stated, in a daily statistics, that the number of recorded infections with Coronavirus “Covid-19” infection in the country during the past 24 hours increased by 26,845, bringing the total number to 9524,640 cases.
This comes after Brazil recorded, on February 4, 56,873 cases of the virus, on February 5, 50872, and on February 6, 50630.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health also stated that it had detected 522 new deaths caused by the disease, bringing the death toll from the pandemic in the country to the level of 231534 people.
And the index of new deaths in the country reached on February 4, 1232 cases, on February 5, 1239, and on February 6, 978.
It is worth noting, however, that the indicators of the Corona virus in Brazil always witness a significant decline at the weekend and on Mondays due to bureaucratic reasons and a decrease in the number of checks.
Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States, and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India.
