The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced, on Tuesday evening, that it had recorded 61,963 cases and 1,214 new deaths from the Coronavirus, a significant increase for both indicators compared with previous data.

The Ministry stated, in a daily statistic, that the number of registered infections with Coronavirus “Covid-19” in the country during the past 24 hours increased by 61,963, bringing the total number to 8933,356 cases.
This outcome comes after the index of new infections in Brazil on January 22 reached 56,552 cases, on January 23, 62334, on January 24, 28,323, and on January 25, 26816.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health also stated that it had detected 1,214 deaths from the disease, bringing the death toll from the pandemic in the country to the level of 218878 people.
And the virus death index in Brazil on January 22 reached 1096 cases, on January 23, 1202, on January 24, 592, and on January 25, 627.
Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States, and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India.
