Brazilian Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco said on Friday that it is possible to vaccinate one million people a day starting next April, according to the vaccination schedule set by the Ministry of Health.
The “Bloomberg” news agency quoted Pacheco as saying, “The top priority currently in the country is the large-scale vaccination campaigns against Covid-19 disease, which is caused by the Corona virus.”

The President of the Senate indicated that the governors of the Brazilian states expressed, during a meeting with him on Friday, their complaints about economic and other problems related to measures to combat the Corona virus, adding that the Congress, in both chambers, is aware of the economic difficulties facing state governors and sympathizes with them.
He stated that the complaints and demands of the provincial governors will be submitted to President Jair Bolsonaro on the twenty-ninth of this March.
Meanwhile, data by Johns Hopkins University of America and the “Bloomberg” news agency, Friday, showed that 18.4 million doses of Corona virus vaccines have been given in Brazil to date.
According to the data announced today, the average rate of vaccination in Brazil is estimated at 738,203 doses per day, and at this rate, it is expected that 75% of the country’s population will be vaccinated with a two-dose vaccine a year and a month.
The vaccination campaign against the virus began in Brazil about nine weeks ago.
In a related context, the data stated that the number of confirmed cases of the new Corona virus in the country reached 12.3 million cases, while the number of deaths related to the virus reached 303,462 cases.
