Real Madrid talent Endrick is set to face his Brazilian compatriot Vitor Roque, Real Betis player, today, Sunday, at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, in the fifth round of the Spanish Football League.
The careers of both young players seemed parallel until recent months in Brazil as two football talents with bright futures ahead of them.
It was natural for Real Madrid and Barcelona to turn to each other, and there was intense competition to secure either of the young duo to secure the position of the outright striker for many years.
Rocky joined Barcelona in January 2024 from Atletico Paranaense, while Endrick signed for Real Madrid nearly a year ago and was officially presented with Los Blancos this summer in preparation for the new season.
comparison
But the Betis player’s career now looks much less than expected when he arrived at Barcelona less than 10 months ago. Endrick, in turn, took his first steps at Real Madrid but in the four official matches in which he was available, he only participated in two, playing 4 minutes in each match.
Despite the high expectations generated by his arrival and the insistence of Barcelona, Roque was of no importance to coach Xavi Hernandez and was only able to enjoy 319 minutes in the league divided into 14 matches, during which he scored two goals.
After this setback, the striker left Barcelona this summer and ended up at Betis on loan, where he hopes to enjoy more opportunities.
Due to the bad situation within Barcelona, Roque left for a team with lower demands than the Blaugrana, but Tigrinho’s numbers in Brazil are higher than Endrick’s.
At Atletico Paranaense, Roque scored 28 goals and provided 11 assists in 81 games, while Endrick, who played for Palmeiras, scored 21 goals and provided 4 assists in 82 games.
In contrast, the Madrid striker’s participation with the white team was very limited, but he did manage to score his first goal.
For his part, Vitor Roque, after a negative period at Barcelona, will be able to prove his level in a team like Betis, which is characterised by its attacking play and the possession of a high-quality midfield.
good relationship
Tigrinho could face his rival Endrick tonight and, despite all the media rivalry, the Betis player has a great relationship with the Real Madrid talent.
The two players get on well off the pitch. They even swapped shirts the last time they met, during this summer’s friendly between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
For the first time in Europe, Endrick and Vitor Roque could meet tonight. They only met once in Brazil, where both scored in a 2-2 draw.

The two have only met on the pitch once, in July 2023 when Atlético Paranaense faced Palmeiras in the Brazilian league.
“I think people will enjoy us a lot,” Endrick recalled in an interview. The Merengue striker also made a nice gesture to the current Betis player when he was injured, sending him an encouraging message on Instagram: “Brother, I know you are going through a difficult moment, but you will come back stronger.”
