Fresh off a dominant road trip, the Milwaukee Brewers will bring baseball’s best record home this weekend for a three-game series against the Miami Marlins at American Family Field from July 25-27.
The Brewers recently concluded a successful 5-1 West Coast trip, which included sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers for the second time in less than two weeks. That trip saw their 11-game winning streak end against the Seattle Mariners.
The team’s recent surge has vaulted them from a 21-25 start to a league-best 61-41 record, placing them ahead of the Toronto Blue Jays and their NL Central rivals, the Chicago Cubs. The streak began in Miami, sparked by a memorable performance from pitcher Brandon Woodruff in his return to the mound on July 6.
In contrast, the Marlins enter the series with a 48-53 record and could be potential sellers at the upcoming MLB trade deadline.
The series opener on Friday, July 25, will also feature a celebration of 25 seasons at American Family Field, with numerous team alumni scheduled to attend and participate in a post-game home run derby.
