Bright lanterns sway as South Koreans celebrate Buddha’s birthday

South Koreans gathered at temples across the country Wednesday on the national holiday to mark Buddha’s birthday.

Hundreds attended a ceremony at the Jogyesa Temple in Seoul, where people wrote their wishes on notes that they then attached to lanterns.
