An Arab doctor and father of seven died after being infected with Corona, as he confirmed that there is no time for cowards in the war with the virus, and he kept fighting until he died in the hospital he works in.
The British newspaper “Daily Mail” reported that Dr. Jamal Othman was one of the leaders of the team that treats hundreds of Corona patients at Southmead Hospital in North Bristol, Britain, but he contracted the virus and died yesterday after a long battle with the disease in intensive care.
It is with great sadness we announce that medical consultant Dr Gamal Osman has sadly died following a long battle with COVID-19. Colleagues said that Gamal was a “generous, calm and an extremely popular member of the team” who was determined to help with the COVID efforts. pic.twitter.com/nFxA2zs8h3

The newspaper quoted his colleagues as saying that he lost his brother due to Corona last September, but despite the attempts of many friends, colleagues and relatives to persuade him to move to a different department, he chose to return to the Corona virus wards at Southmead Hospital.
His colleagues described him as “generous, calm and a very popular member of the medical team”.
They said that Dr. Othman was well aware that he was at great risk if he contracted Corona, but he refused to leave his colleagues and insisted on confronting this epidemic.
The Sudanese Doctors Union, the UK branch, mourned the late doctor, and wrote: “With hearts full of grief and sorrow, we count to God Almighty Dr. Jamal Hassan Othman, who passed away, asking God to cover him with the breadth of his mercy.”
