With renewed strikes launched by American and British forces on affiliated sites For the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) In Yemen, Iran warned on Tuesday of the expansion of the war in the region, while British Foreign Secretary David Cameron pledged to continue targeting the Houthis to limit their military capabilities.
Iranian state television reported – today, Tuesday – that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian warned of the expansion of the scope of the war in the region after renewed American and British strikes on sites belonging to the Houthis.
Iranian television quoted Abdullahian as saying, “We sent strong messages to the United States and Britain, warning us of the expansion of the war in the region and the threat to peace and security in the region as a result of the attacks on the Houthis.”
For his part, Cameron stressed that the campaign aimed at weakening the military capabilities of the Houthis in Yemen will continue. He said – during a televised interview – today, Tuesday, “What we did again was to send the clearest message possible that we will continue to limit their ability to carry out these attacks.”
The statements come after the strikes launched by American and British forces at dawn today on Houthi targets in Yemen.
The coalition, which included the United States, Britain, Bahrain and other countries, was called ” Guardian of prosperityHe announced – in a statement – that he launched strikes targeting 8 sites belonging to the Houthis in Yemen.
An American official told Al Jazeera that the strikes against the Houthi positions were widespread and multilateral, noting that these strikes were launched by American and British forces with non-operational support from other countries.

The Houthis are threatening
The Houthis threatened the United States and Britain, and stressed that the recent raids on Yemen “will not pass without a response.”
