British Trade Minister Liz Truss confirmed, today, Sunday, that the European Union has provided guarantees that the anti-Coronavirus vaccines requested by London will be provided.

“It is necessary to keep the borders open, resist national vaccinations, and resist the protection policy,” Truss said.
She added, “We are pleased that the European Union has admitted that invoking Article 16 was a mistake, and that they will not proceed with that now.”
And she continued, explaining: “We are fully confident that we can continue to implement our vaccination program against the Coronavirus, and we have received guarantees from the European Union that these contracts will not be suspended.”
This comes after Brussels admitted that “it is a mistake to activate emergency powers under the Brexit agreement.”
