British opposition Labor Party leader Keir Starmer announced that his party would support the trade deal with the European Union, which Parliament will vote on next week.
Starmer said on Thursday: “When the deal is presented to Parliament, the Labor Party will approve it and vote in its favor.”
He added that the British people “will not forgive” British politicians if they allow a Brexit to happen without an agreement.
The British Parliament will vote on the trade deal that Prime Minister Boris Johnson reached with the European Union on December 30.
Expectations indicate that the British Parliament will ratify the agreement.
