The brother of Bachelorette runner up Adrian Baena was supported in court by his new girlfriend as he fought charges relating to domestic violence and sexual assault.
Jaden Farid Thornhill Baena appeared in Pine River Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with 21 offences relating to the distribution of sexual videos without the victim’s consent, common assault and sexual assault.
He is also facing three domestic violence charges separate to his criminal matters.
The 29-year-old was supported by his new girlfriend Stephanie Carter as he defended himself against the serious allegations.

The couple appeared loved up as they left the court hand-in-hand on Wednesday morning.
They kissed and laughed as they made their way from the courthouse before they embraced and walked to the car together.
Jaden told Daily Mail Australia he would not be commenting on the criminal matters.
The 29-year-old, who is the brother of 2020 Bachelorette runner-up Adrian, is accused of assaulting a woman several times, including when she was unconscious.
The former army rifleman and personal trainer is also facing seven counts each of filming a woman’s genital region without consent and distributing the videos.
It is not clear how long the couple have been dating, but Jaden’s ex-girlfriend gave birth to their child in October 2019

Ms Carter stayed with Jaden throughout the court process up until she was asked to leave the room as the court processed several domestic violence matters
Jaden laughed and appeared at ease as he waited for his matter to be mentioned in the Brisbane-based court on Wednesday.
Ms Carter stayed with Jaden throughout the court process up until she was asked to leave the room as the court processed several domestic violence matters.
Jaden welcomed his first son with his ex girlfriend, who also served in the army, in October 2019.
It is believed the pair were no longer together when the baby was born.
His lawyer told the court Jaden was under the strictest of bail conditions, and asked for bail to be enlarged to appear again in the same court on April 14.
The court heard Jaden is facing seven counts of distributing prohibited visual recordings, seven counts of filming genitals without consent, two counts of common assault and one count of sexual assault.
He is also accused of three separate domestic violence related offences, including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of common assault and sexual assault.
Adrian wrote on Instagram after the finale aired: ‘Although I really thought I’d found my person, this heartbreak isn’t going to stop me from picking up the pieces and trying again’

In spite of the serious allegations made against him, Network 10 gave Jaden the all clear to briefly appear on the Bachelorette to grill Becky Miles on her morals after she was accused of breaking up with her boyfriend to star on the show.
He appeared concerned about whether Becky would be a good fit for his younger brother, Adrian.
The former army rifleman was in the top two contenders for Becky’s heart, but ultimately lost out to Pete Mann.
Becky and Pete separated shortly after filming and she and Adrian briefly rekindled their romance before deciding they were better off as friends.
It is not clear how much she knew of the charges against Jaden.
Jaden and Adrian’s mother Karen Cotter’s Caboolture South home on the Sunshine Coast was raided by police on February 18, 2019.

Adrian was handcuffed for allegedly obstructing police as they tried to execute a search warrant, but was released a short time later without charge.
Police allegedly found meth in the home and arrested Jaden. He was charged with drug possession.
It is not suggested that Adrian or Ms Cotter had any involvement in the matters subject to the charges.
Jaden was again arrested on May 27, 2019, in relation to the string of sex and domestic violence charges, just two months after his girlfriend proudly announced they were expecting their first baby.
Adrian stood by his brother and visited him at Arthur Gorrie Remand Centre before he was released on bail.
How much Becky knew about Adrian’s past (Adrian pictured in his days as a soldier) while filming the show is unclear
