The Milwaukee Bucks have added another player to their squad in order to face the team’s preseason. As reported by the journalist from The Athletic Shams Charania, the Wisconsin franchise has closed the hiring of Johnny O’Bryant to participate in the training camp.
O’Bryant, 28, was selected 36th in the 2014 draft by the Bucks themselves, a team with which he would complete his first two years as a professional. Later he would defend the Denver and Charlotte jersey. His overall averages in the NBA rise to 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game.
The interior has played the last three seasons in Europe, with stops in Israel, Russia, Serbia and Turkey. With Maccabi of Tel Aviv he would win an Israeli league, a trophy to which he would add a Serbian Cup with Red Star.
O’Bryant will now have the opportunity to compete for a position in the roster from Milwaukee. The Bucks have thirteen players under fully guaranteed contracts, plus two that are not, corresponding to the Georgios Kalaitzakis and Tremont Waters deals. However, the Bucks may start the new season with a spot available, which would significantly limit their options.
