One mum recently revealed her simple recipe to making Caramilk Crunchie fudge
The Caramilk trend has seen home cooks and chefs experiment in the kitchen, coming up with vanilla slices, Caramilk cakes, fudge and brownies.
One mum recently revealed her simple recipe to making Caramilk Crunchie fudge .
The mum posted on the slow cooker recipe and tips page on Facebook and said ‘the hardest part’ of making the fudge was ‘sacrificing three blocks of Caramilk chocolate’.
But she admits it was worth the pain of watching her favourite chocolate melt away because it is ‘the most delectable fudge’ she has ever eaten.
The fudge takes just over an hour to cook then it is poured into a tray so it can set
The recipe calls for three blocks of the popular chocolate, condensed milk, chocolate honeycomb pieces, vanilla essence and butter.
All of the ingredients are put in to a slow cooker except the honeycomb. The mixture needs to be stirred every 15 minutes until it is silky.
The fudge then need to be poured onto a tray.
The honeycomb is smashed up on top before the tray is put into the fridge for four hours so the fudge can set.
Pictures of the fudge show the honeycomb is generously poured on top of the Caramilk base.
