The Charlotte Hornets have signed player Cameron McGriff to a contract. Exhibit 10 to join the franchise’s boot camp, journalist Adam Zagoria has reported.
McGriff, 23, completed his college journey at Oklahoma State. In his last year he would average 12.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. After that, he would present himself to the 2020 draft although he would not be selected.
Without a place in the league, he would start his professional career in Belgium in the ranks of Okapi Aalstar, where he registered 13.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He would recently participate in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Hornets themselves.
However, his future could lie with the Greensboro Swarm, a G-League affiliated team, or back in Europe. The Hornets currently have 17 guaranteed contracts and its two dual agreements already used.
