Canal 22 premieres “Se dice por ah…”, the series of the ombudsman for the hearings

Canal 22 premiered the program “Se dice por ah…”, content dedicated to the defense of the hearings that is hosted by the journalist Gabriel Sosa Plata and the lawyer and defender of the hearings, Mercedes Olivares.

The production seeks to make a contribution to media literacy, through interviews, capsules and the responses that have been offered to audiences that have submitted complaints, comments and suggestions to the television station’s defense.

There will also be different sections that will provide useful information for the public so that they can learn more about their rights as an audience and how to exercise them.

Its objective is to open a dialogue with the viewer, encourage their participation, analysis and debate on the ethical aspects of content production in electronic media, journalistic practices, as well as the use and impact of digital networks, both Canal 22 and other media

In the first episode entitled It is said out there… That the rights of the audiences are censorship… is that right?, which will have the teacher Beatriz Solís as a guest, they will talk about how the rights of the audiences protect plurality, equality, ideological diversity and non-discrimination, among other rights, and the position of the radio and television industry in the legal, political and media arena regarding audience rights will be addressed.
