Italian Antonio Cassano, the former striker of the footballing poles of Milan and Real Madrid, criticized the Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, after Juventus was defeated by Porto in the Champions League.
“I have always said that Cristiano Ronaldo (a phenomenon). He may have scored a billion goals, but he is facing problems with Andrea Pirlo’s style of play,” Cassano said, in statements highlighted by the Spanish newspaper, Marca.

He added, “He always appears selfish. He doesn’t care if other people score, and just lives to score by himself. He doesn’t live for football. He lives for his goals. It is clear.”
He continued: “If you put Xavi, Iniesta, Modric, or Kroos behind Ronaldo, he will score 50 goals. But the ideas are different in Juventus and they have a new style of play.”
Cassano concluded his speech, saying, “Let’s be honest about Ronaldo’s problem with Juventus. The passing of years affects everyone, even for Cristiano.”
It is noteworthy that Ronaldo lost with his team Juventus to his host Porto (1-2), in the meeting that brought them together yesterday, Wednesday, in the first leg of the final price of the Champions League.
