CCE Puebla postpones trade missions to China until 2023

Puebla, Pue. The Business Coordinating Council (CCE) postponed until 2023 the realization of at least five trade missions, due to the change of leadership in November, commented the president, Ignacio Alarcón Rodríguez Pacheco, and China It is the first on the list to visit by businessmen.

He recalled that firms from Puebla agrifood, auto parts, business services, information technology y turismoare those who have signed up to be participants in the trade mission.

He commented that since the partners had ample interest in presiding over the organization, since there are four candidates, it was better to postpone the trip.

Also, the CCE is waiting for around 40 local businessmen to materialize and for there to be the support of the Mexican and Chinese embassies to carry out the logistics planning regarding which cities and companies to visit.

Alarcón Rodríguez Pacheco indicated that they thought of taking companies from the sectors mentioned above, because they are the ones that are opening the most markets and attracting investments for Mexico in the last five years.

He commented that the trip must be a minimum of 15 days to make tours, so they are seeing which will be the cities and companies of China to visit.

He indicated that the expectations are that the majority can have an approach with a view to closing a business six months after the commercial visit, but it depends on the products or services that are offered, although in this last issue it is complicated, because the Asian country It is very advanced in the technological issue and what it may require is local labor.

Also, Ignacio Alarcón stated that a trade mission to Spain has been pending since 2021, which was carried out by business leaders from that country.

He regretted that embassy attachés in Mexico are not showing willingness to invite the Private Initiative of the states for trade missions and that some firms can promote their products.
