A trespasser has been caught squatting outside a family home, appearing to try and defecate on the front lawn and falling asleep under a clothesline.
The man approached the house in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to footage uploaded by residents in Ipswich in Queensland.
He stayed at the property for three hours, the owners claimed, and police confirmed they had received a report of willful damage from the disturbed people living in the home.

The trespasser approached the house at around 2.30am and broke off a part of a car parked at the property, before pulling down his pants and squatting.
He appeared to sleep under a clothesline before going to the back of the house and looked as if he were tampering with the back door.
The stranger then lay down on a pile of cardboard boxes, seeming to fall asleep and resting one box on top of him as if it were a blanket.

Queensland Police said they had received a report about the incident, and the address was in the semi rural Ipswich suburb of Walloon.
‘They’ve attempted to gain access to a car, attempted to get in a rear door, broke a panel, slept on concrete before trying to access the house,’ police said.
‘They’ve slept outside for another couple of hours and then left.’
