Because they are increasing Covid-19 contagions, the Secretariat of Health of Mexico City announced new measures to prevent the spread of this disease, among which the extension of the hours from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. of the 117 health centers that carry out tests stands out.
The capital dependency detailed that it was also restock supplies to double the number of tests, with what could be done up to 23,400 per day.
At the same time, modules will be reinstalled to perform antigen tests in shopping malls:

- Santa Fe Shopping Center
- Las Antenas Park
- Via Vallejo Park
- Perisur Shopping Center
- Chedraui Aragon
- Forum Buenavista
The opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11:00 hours.
“In coordination with the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), the Social Security Respiratory Care Modules (MARSS) are still available, where free Covid-19 tests are also applied,” added the local agency.
In this vein, the population will have three options to go to apply a Covid-19 test for free: 117 health centers, modules in shopping centers and the Social Security Respiratory Care Modules.
The Secretariat of Health of Mexico City explained that the location of the places where the Covid-19 test can be carried out can be consulted at the site https://test.covid19.cdmx.gob.mx/.
On Monday, the head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, ruled out that there is any alarm about the increase in Covid-19 cases in the capital, because hospitalizations have not increased.
