Council, N.C. — Graves in a historic church cemetery courting again to the 1800s have been vandalized on Sunday night time.
Round 8 to 10 headstones have been broken or turned over within the cemetery of Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church close to Elizabethtown, in line with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Workplace.
The historic church was established in 1845 and is on the Nationwide Register of Historic Locations.
The sheriff’s workplace is requesting assist figuring out whoever is accountable for the vandalism to those grave websites.
