The Buffalo Bills’ acquisition of edge rusher Joey Bosa is already paying significant dividends. Through his first two games, Bosa has recorded one sack, a league-leading three forced fumbles, and a team-high eight quarterback pressures as the team prepares for a Thursday night showdown with the Miami Dolphins.
This strong start marks a welcome return to form for the 30-year-old, who was limited by injuries to just 28 of a possible 51 games over the past three seasons. Now with a new team, Bosa feels reinvigorated and motivated.
“I think I have a lot to prove to mainly myself, because that’s all that really matters, that I still have stuff to give to this game,” Bosa told The Associated Press. “It’s just nice to have a fresh start with a new team and get to experience football in a different environment and a whole new situation.”
Feeling healthy, Bosa believes he is currently in peak condition. “When I’m feeling good, I feel nice and young,” he said. “And I’m feeling as good as I have my entire career.”
