The global website “Goal” revealed that the English club Chelsea is seeking to restore its former player, Mohamed Salah, the winger of the Liverpool football team.
The site indicated that Liverpool’s slowdown in resolving talks to renew the Egyptian international’s contract encouraged his former club to think about negotiating with the pharaoh to return to his team’s ranks again.
Salah played with Chelsea for a year from January 2014 to January 2015, before moving to Fiorentina in the Italian League on loan and then selling to Rome before returning to Chelsea in the summer of 2017.
Chelsea is trying to include Salah, especially since there is no guarantee that he will reach an agreement with Liverpool, as they did with Romelu Lukaku, who returned last summer from Inter Milan after leaving in 2014.
Mohamed Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires in June 2023, but the two parties have not yet reached an agreement to continue.
British reports stated that Liverpool rejected the financial requests of the Egyptian star, who also stuck to them through his agent, Rami Abbas, which strengthens the chances of Salah leaving the Reds.
