Alize Johnson has barely set foot in free agency. After being fired by the Brooklyn Nets on September 4, not an hour has passed since he left the list of waivers until Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN has announced his signing for the Chicago Bulls.
According to the aforementioned journalist, the 25-year-old power forward signs for the Illinois organization for 2 years and 3.6 million dollars, thus becoming the 15th player in the Chicago squad with a guaranteed contract, since hours before he met also the incorporation of Stanley Johnson.
The 50th in the 2018 draft comes to the Bulls after showing his energy and athleticism in the 18 games he played with the Nets. In just 10.5 minutes per night he averaged up to 5 rebounds (1.5 in attack). For the memory remains the game of 20 points and 21 rebounds that he signed against the Indiana Pacers on April 30, 2021. In Chicago they hope that that strength will be transferred to the United Center.
